Stage 1 · Inspect it
Take your time, bring someone.
Four things: used vehicles, parts, printing and short-run publishing.
The Car-Pass is the single most useful document in a Belgian used car sale: it records the mileage readings taken at inspections and services, so a clocked car is visible on paper. We hand it over as the law requires, disclose what we know of the vehicle's history, and state the guarantee in writing before you commit.
Take your time, bring someone.
Shown before you decide, not after.
Stated in writing, with its term.
Completed through the DIV.
Matched to your actual vehicle.
Original or equivalent, explained.
Stated honestly before ordering.
Terms given up front.
Model years overlap and manufacturers change parts mid-production, which is why ordering by model alone produces returns. We order against the vehicle identification number so the part fits the car you actually have, and we tell you when a cheaper equivalent is genuinely equivalent.
Pre-press is where print jobs are saved or lost: colour profiles, bleed, resolution and fonts. We prepare the file properly and send a proof, and once you approve it the approved proof governs — so read the names and numbers carefully. You must hold the rights to any artwork you send us.
Rights checked, files assessed.
Bleed, colour and resolution fixed.
Approved in writing before printing.
Checked against the proof.
Quantity, format and finish.
Once, properly.
Short runs accepted.
So reprints cost less.
Short-run work that larger printers decline: a catalogue of two hundred, a reprint of a manual, a set of documents that needs to look consistent. Files are kept so a reprint does not mean redoing the pre-press, which is usually the larger part of the cost.
Ask us. Vehicles come with the Car-Pass shown before you decide.
